Used AT5125 tags are usually available from our company. We perform complete RF, leak, and encoding testing on any used tags we may acquire. Used tags sold by us have a one year warranty.
The price quoted for used AT5125 tags does not include the price of the AT5125-P tag plug, which must be purchased separately.
The AT5125 High Temperature Tag is used primarily to identify transportation vehicles, such as coal rail cars, that can be exposed to high temperatures. In freezing temperatures coal cars are often placed in thaw sheds to unfreeze the coal to facilitate unloading of the car. This tag is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 345 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 45 minutes.
Information can be encoded into the tag with an AP4110 Tag Programmer. Data in the tag can be changed up to 10,000 times.
Since this tag does not contain a battery, its life is estimated to be over 15 years.
As with our other passive (non-battery) tags, the used AT5125 tag can be read at speeds of up to 70 mph and at distances of up to 20 feet, depending on the type of reader.
There is a standard temperature version of this tag called the AT5110.
